We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Guests

welcome500At First Baptist Church of Yorba Linda, we're always excited to welcome new guests. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our 10:00 a.m. service.

Our church is located at 18372 Lemon Dr., Yorba Linda CA. You may park on Lemon Drive or School Street or use the church parking area located to the rear of the church campus; you will find its entrance off of Main St. Our neighbor Bank of America graciously allows us to use their parking lots also during Sunday service.

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both. As a matter of fact, you may even see our staff wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

When you arrive, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually located near the doors; they'll be more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have about the service and church itself. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary, and fellowship area.

To ensure everyone can enjoy the service you will notice an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter, seated on the right side of the stage, signing for our deaf members and guests. Many that attend our service have said they enjoy watching the ASL interpreter, trying to follow along and learn different words as she signs the Worship Songs, Prayers and Message.

Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for refreshments. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
